You might wonder about the origins of the iBoundary concept and how this remarkable product came to be. It probably won’t surprise you to learn that our journey started with extensive experience in this field. iBoundary is closely linked to our sister company, Ecolution Hubs. Approximately three years ago, we founded Ecolution Hubs, focusing on transforming shipping containers into eco-friendly home gyms and offices. These past three years have been an exciting voyage of discovery, marked by numerous creative triumphs and innovative achievements, all while steadfastly upholding our commitment to sustainability.

During this time, we’ve had many moments of inspiration, but none have ignited our passion quite like the iBoundary concept. Below, discover how a creative spark was transformed into a fully functional, tangible prototype, ready to be showcased to the world.

Seeing the Light

As Ecolution Hubs projects ventured into more adventurous territory, our interior designs followed suit. Stepping back to admire a particular wall feature illuminated by LED strips, something clicked. This decorative element served as the catalyst for the birth of the iBoundary concept, shaping it into what it is today. Immersing ourselves in the world of iBoundary and delving into brainstorming sessions, we began to grasp the full potential of this idea.

Embarking on a Discovery

During our market research, it became evident that there was nothing quite like our smart boundary concept in the market. While composite panels, often referred to as Smart Panels, exist, they are labeled as “smart” merely because of the click systems they use. iBoundary, on the other hand, elevates the concept of smartness to an entirely new level, offering a boundary system for both domestic and commercial purposes that truly lives up to the tagline, “Without Limits.”

Creative Inspiration

When we realized we had a winning concept on our hands, our creative inspiration surged, leading to a flurry of elaborate ideas. However, we soon recognized the need to channel this creativity into a structured approach. We devised a phased development plan based on generations, giving rise to the Generation 1 iBoundary. After months of brainstorming, meetings, sketches, digital renders, and moments of sudden inspiration, we reached a crucial point: it was time to create a prototype. Turning to D2M, a product design company renowned for their expertise, creativity, and methodical consumer research, we embarked on the next phase of our exciting journey.
